Process details :

                     Regedit.exe is dropped by brid worm in Windows system folder. It is an Internet worm, uses e-mail addresses collected from DBX and HTM files to send infected messages. The worm attachment will be "README.EXE". This worm is also known as I-Worm/Bridex, W32/Braid-A, PE_BRID.A, W32.Brid.A@mm, Bridex worm.

                     When the infected attachment is executed, the worm copies itself to Windows system folder as "Regedit.exe" and copies to windows desktop as "Explorer.exe". The worm also creates new key in the registry in the Run section to load automatically. The registry modification is given below.

                     Brid worm uses IFRAME vulnerability to infect. When the user views the e-mail the embedded code is executed automatically and it drops the virus.                      Brid worm drops new variant of W32/Funlove virus. Brid will try to terminate antivirus and security programs in the infected system.
